HaloFreeEtch at the ReTronics Summer School in Krakow
From 25–29 August 2025, the ReTronics Summer School on Sustainable Electronics took place in Krakow, Poland. The event, organized within the EIC Pathfinder Responsible Electronics Portfolio, gathered young researchers, experts, and project representatives to exchange knowledge and explore innovative approaches to sustainable electronics.
HaloFreeEtch was represented by Saumya Sadhu, PhD student at the University of Graz, who attended the school and actively engaged in the program’s activities. The Summer School combined high-level lectures, workshops, and networking opportunities, offering participants valuable insights into emerging technologies, sustainability challenges, and new pathways for responsible innovation.
By joining this common portfolio initiative, HaloFreeEtch strengthened its connections with sister projects and contributed to advancing the shared mission of developing greener, safer, and more responsible semiconductor technologies.
